Product Name: Japanese Matcha Green Tea 500mg 60 Capsules
Vilife’s Japanese Matacha Tea capsules are encapsulated with world renowned nutritional sources of green tea. In cultivating matcha, the plant is shade-grown for several weeks before harvest. Following harvesting, processors grind the leaves of the plants into a fine powder. The result is a highly nutritious powder form which we have encapsulated for your convenience.
Unlike most other green teas, matcha contains the entire leaf of the Camellia sinensis (the species of plant used to make green tea, black tea, oolong tea, and white tea).

The main active ingredients of green tea include polyphenolic compounds such as epicatechin (EC), epicatechin-3-gallate (ECG), epigallocatechin (EGC) and epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), all of which may be responsible for the anti-carcinogenic and anti-mutagenic activities of green tea. Other polyphenols in green tea include flavanols and their glycosides and depsides such as cholorogenic acid, quinic acids, carotenoids, trigalloylglucose, lignin, protein, chlorophyll, minerals (aluminum or manganese, depending on the soil content), caffeine and a very small amount of methylxanthines.
Another side-effect of L-Theanine is the production of dopamine and serotonin. These two chemicals serve to enhance mood, improve memory, and promote better concentration – something that can benefit everyone!
